Summer Beauty Tips : How To Deal With Oily Skin In Summer
Beauty Tips In Summer For Oil Skin
Skin care starts with finding out your skin type. You can know if you have oily skin simply by looking at your face bare in the morning as soon as you woke up. Your face bare of any make-up, bare of any cream, when you look into the mirror if you see that your face is shiny, it means that you have an oily skin. If you see that only the forehead and the tip of your nose is shiny whereas your cheeks feel normal or dry then you have got a combination skin type. If you feel that the entire face feels bit dry and a bit stretched then you’ve got a dry skin.
Taking care of oily/combination skin in summer :
Oily and combination skin type becomes more oily during summers. Cleansing several times a day is an absolute no. Use agentle PH neutral cleanser to cleanse your face twice a day.
Maintain skin hydration, if you dry out your skin then oil glands will produce more oil to compensat leading to a more oily skin. If you need to wash your face more than two times a day then use lukewarm water only. Do not use cleanser more than twice a day.
People with oily skin also need moisturizer. A right moisturizer should neither feel very oily or leave your skin very dry.
Face pack :
People with oily/combination skin also tend to have more open pores. This problem magnifies during summer. If you have open pores and are prone to pimples I recommend a face pack comprised of sandalwood powder, a bit of gram flour which is mixed in rose water. The rose water tones up the skin and reduces the oilynessof the skin. The sandalwood decreases the tone of the skin and also helps to give a nice matte appearance to the skin. The gram flour in the packis a deep genle cleanser, it cleanses the face and decreases the chances of pimples.
Food measures :
It is worthwhile staying away from fried foods, foods which contain excessive glucose like desserts and pudding. Stick to fruits and vegetables, especially fruits which are brightly coloured. The fibre in the fruits and vegetables helps to cleanse out your system and detoxify the system and hence reduces the outbreaks on your skin surface.
Drinking plenty of water is of at most important. On an average an adult women requires 2 litres of water a day and an adult male requires 2½ litres of water a day.
Water helps to flush out the toxins from the skin and reduces the outbreaks of pimples. It reduces the incidence of scars by drilling of the pimples more easily on the surface of the skin. Watet also helps in clearing out the digestive system and reduces constipation.
